How to make a backpack or purse with pockets?
I want to make a Sonic the Hedgehog/ my cartoon character backpack what materials will be best to make them with?
You should use a durable fabric like canvas so that the pack will hold up to everyday wear and tear.
If you want a large Sonic the Hedgehog character on the pack you should try and use fabrics that are waterproof and don’t ravel on the edges. That way you can applique the character on the bag, much simpler than piecing it.
Maybe see what your local fabric store has to offer. Seeing the fabrics may give you some ideas on what will work.
