The Mormon church is doing so well right now, it’s insane. and they kick butt at everything they do?
They have one of the largest private welfare programs in the country and also the most effective. They are the only organization that has 0 percent overhead costs.
They are the only church still growing out of the top 25 churches in America.
They have the largest and most effective missionary programs in the country.
They have the most famous and largest religious choirs in america. The mormon tabernacle choir.
They have the largest private college in the country with over 50,000 students. And the campus in hawaii has their own tourist company which is the most popular tourist attraction hawaii. It creatses enough revenue to pay for all their educations.
It has the largest family history program in the world with over 20 billion names.
They are the most educated, least divorced and donate the most per capita then any other religion.
Any other religions that compare?
The list goes on and on.

You are absolutely right. But it is unfortunate for POPS that he hasn’t visited the church to know that it is a very friendly and warm environment. The LDS church is family oriented and we service members and non-members of the church who are in need. There is much to learn about the Lords gospel and His ministry. Of course everybody has their agency and we try to adhere to all of His teachings, laws and covenants we make with Him, but we sometimes fall short because we are human. His church is perfect, but the members are not.
As for FIREBALLS ARCH NEMESIS – the church itself does not get involved in politics, but individual members have a right to just as any other individual that has of voice.
